Adele Gladman works with BBC Inside Out programme looking at historical child sex abuse case

I had a quite an interesting experience a couple of weeks ago. The BBC asked me to give an expert opinion¬† and help with its research on an historical child sex abuse case which featured last week (29 January) on its Inside Out programme. Looking back at the last 15-20 years at issues of sharing information about and monitoring child sex offenders made me realise how much progress we have made … and how much more we need to make to avoid the kind of abuse and lifelong trauma that occurred in this tragic case:
