Adele Gladman works with BBC Inside Out programme looking at historical child sex abuse case

I had a quite an interesting experience a couple of weeks ago. The BBC asked me to give an expert opinionĀ  and help with its research on an historical child sex abuse case which featured last week (29 January) on its Inside Out programme. Looking back at the last 15-20 years at issues of sharing information about and monitoring child sex offenders made me realise how much progress we have made … and how much more we need to make to avoid the kind of abuse and lifelong trauma that occurred in this tragic case:

“My confidence in making referrals has definitely increased and I feel I am in a better position to effectively engage with the child protection process.

“Excellent and thought provoking
